About us
The Gainsborough Trail working group is comprised of representatives from town, district and county council representatives, voluntary groups and residents seeking to publicise the beautiful countryside and walks available around Sudbury, Suffolk.
The Meadow Walk has proven to be a highly popular walk and the leaflet detailing the walk is available free from the tourist information centre in Sudbury, Suffolk.
The intention is to encourage interest in walking as a means to promote both physical and mental health and wellbeing. Sudbury, Suffolk is a great place to visit and the Gainsborough Trail offers visitors and residents an opportunity to explore and enjoy the countryside made famous by the landscape architect to whom Sudbury owes much and who attracts many visitors to our town.
